Barry is bravely taking to the dance floor this year for the 10th Stars of Wollongong - Dance For Cancer.

The event consists of 'Stars' from all over the Illawarra, made up of business owners and local community leaders who will learn to dance in 12 weeks with the help of their fabulously talented dance teachers.
The big event will be held on Saturday the 31st of May and we're in for a night of fun, DANCING, food, raffles, auctions and specular entertainment all in the name of working towards a cancer-free future.
With 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, the money raised from this event will go towards Cancer Council NSW and their world-class cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy, and support services to help those affected by cancer at every point in their journey.
Barry has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $40,000 - so we've got our work cut out for us. "I figured if I could convince 2000 generous people to donate $20 each, we could get there, and make a real difference" - Barry said.
We look forward to supporting this amazing charity, in solidarity with Barry's Nan Lesley, as she currently fights her own battle.
We at the Disco Dining Group are looking to help out as much as possible, and will be holding and supporting some events in hopes to help Barry achieve his goal for the Cancer Council.
